International Day of Prayer
for the Maltese Islands
2004 report

Dear Pray-ers,

The prayer day was AWESOME! On Saturday evening (August 7th) we had prayer events at three of the villages with nearly 50 people participating. We were in Gozo (Malta's smaller island) with the visiting missions team from Kentucky, and Jimmy and Nancy Moore. It was really a blessing to pray on the walls of the Citadel, overlooking Gozo as the sun set.

On the evening of Sunday August 8th, we had between 80-90 people from a variety of churches here attend the prayer service, and it was such a blessing to see and hear people praying for Malta and the Maltese to come to know Christ personally. Then over 50 people stayed for the worship rally where we had singing in English, Maltese, and Arabic. We even had a friend of Malta travel from the UK for the prayer service- thanks Ken! :-)

We also received news from many of you that you were joining us in prayer from your various churches, primarily in the United States but also in countries all around the world! I know of people in China, Japan, Australia, England, N.Ireland, India, and Canada, and there may have been others too.

Thank you for making this prayer day so special and we are looking forward to seeing how God answers the prayers of His people!

Love,

Robin, Earl, Kathryn, and Thomas Pinkston, and Team Malta
